Running Accomplishments:

Well there hasn't been anything out of the normal for my speed but have been a state competitor for track and x-country with a 5k time of 16:49.

My best mile time is that of 4:28 at districts as a sophomore.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Number one goal is to go to nationals for x-country with a time of 15:50 my senior year(which should be there soon) Injuries just keep getting in the way.

Long-Term Running Goals:

In the long run want to take my marathon time of 2:40 down to 2:15 and maybe lower by the time i am 21.

Personal:

Well everybody am a personal trainer, x-country captian for the school, and am living in yelm washington.

Training everyday of the year is the key to success. You may get many people sayin that I am wrong but I don't listen to them. They ever wonder why they do not succeed. Anybody can run decent. They just gotta put time and dedication into it.

Now today was a really fun day to run. Started off on running 7 marathon paced miles. The ground was relatively flat so it was simple. There was a slight cloud covering so the sun was out but not really roasting my buddy and I. People would pass by us in there vehicles honking and yelling run forest run...hahahahaha Thought that it was pretty funny.

Next we got bored with running flat miles so we next headed to what we call the canal. I water way that has lots of steep hills. Not just any steep hills but ones that would make most experianced runners turn back home with there tails between there legs. We love hills here and scaled them as intense as we could move are legs and pump our arms....driving fast up hill.

After about 3 miles we decided to get another 15 minutes in to loosin up.

Welcome to the blog! I think with proper mileage you can get in the 2:15 area in the marathon overtime. At least your mile speed does not exclude the possibility.

Hey Zach- welcome to the blog. Since you live in Washington, are you doing the Ragnar Northwest Passage relay at the end of July? If not, want to join our fastrunningblog competitive team? We have 3 spots available. It's a sponsored team. Let me know.

Are you still running? We need another runner for the Northwest Passage Relay http://www.ragnarrelay.com/northwestpassage in a few weeks. We're looking for folks that can hold a sub-7 minute mile for their legs. Interested?

If not, keep blogging anyway!
